We were both pole vaulters on the Colorado School of Mines Track and Field Team! We first met at the Team BBQ at the start of our freshman year in August of 2021. What started as teammates slowly turned into something more!

For our first date, we grabbed coffee at Higher Grounds and walked around Goldens in Golden! Afterward, we went ice skating on Evergreen Lake and grabbed lunch at Beau Jo's Pizza.

In June of 2026, we took a trip to Italy with Noah's family. On our first day there, Noah surprised me with a boat ride on Lake Garda! After we headed out onto the lake, Noah stopped the boat with a view of the Castello Scaligero and asked me to marry him.

Afterward, we celebrated on the boat with a bottle of wine before heading back to shore to meet up with Noah's family.

We spent the rest of our trip celebrating our engagement! We're so excited for the next chapter and even more excited to celebrate it with all of you!
